Embassy Manifold

I have a Embassy manifold and flow indicators glass has rust stain hard to see. Does anyone know the best way to clean the glass? Thanks

Is the stain on the outside? If so... Bar Tender's Friend. Get it at the grocery store. If it's on the inside, same stuff -- but you will have to take them apart.Br. Jamie, osb

You would need remove all of them from the manifold, with the manifold isolated or drained down.
Most of them disassemble like a faucet stem, soak them in CLR then reassemble. There is an O-ring inside that could be damaged on reassemble, O rings get brittle after time and temperature. Unless you have spares it could be risky.
But they will probably cloud up again quickly if the system water is dirty or rusty.
It's pretty tough to keep any boiler water completely clear unless the entire system is non ferrous metals.
