Radiant System Manifold Plumbing Setup Incorrectly (need advice please)

Hello, I posted a question a couple years back on a sticking Wirsbo TruFlow Valve. When I did, it was pointed out that the setup was wrong, supply and return are swapped so the valves have issues opening agains flow. The guy who set up this system was a complete moron, did a number of things wrong. Unfortunately we didn't realize until the thing started showing signs of trouble and the company we used was out of business.

The thumping hasnt returned thankfully, even though I havent swapped Supply/Return. However, I am now wanting to swap them as we are seeing more valve issues - they are sticking and not opening properly, I assume because of the reverse flow issues over time. Before I get going on that, I wanted to post a couple photos (links below) of the general setup and see if anyone has any other concerns or thoughts - specifically with regard to how the Return connections are placed above the Supply in this current setup. Would swapping Return/Supply at the boiler cause any issues when it gets to the manifold distribution because of that? You can see the flush valve is on the current return side as well, not sure if switching would have any impact on flushing? Thanks to all who have helped in the past and now!

Feels like I am constantly improving this setup, I really wish I had done more research before hiring the guy I did and recommend strongly to anyone else interested in Radiant setups to do so. It's an art it seems.
Thanks!
