Munchkin Boiler

in Gas Heating
My munchkin boiler makes a banging noise periodically and the pressure gauge needle bounces everytime it bangs. it feels like it is coming from the combustion chamber. Burner tub, electrode and elec module just replace. Any ideas of what may be causing this?

    delayed ignition? Needs a pro w/ a combustion tool....

    Could be delayed ignition. When was the last time the heat exchanger was cleaned ACCORDING TO the I/O manual?

    Could also be a stem flash if water flow is insufficient.
