recommend rigid insulation for radiant heat for a garage floor slab

I am building a garage approx. 540 sq ft. What is the recommended compressive rigid insulation for a garage floor. I am looking at the Owen Corning 2" x 4x8 EPS R-10 Foamular 25 (25 psi) or should I use a higher Foamular 400 (40 psi). ' Thank you for any ideas or thoughts.

25 psi should be fine. Stay away from the Scoreboard, it tends to break into strips as you walk on it. Get the subgrade as flat and smooth as possible.

The Square Edge is the best to work with if you can find it. The T&G style doesn't always lock and stay together on the ground.

If you use remesh, buy the sheets not rolls, 20 footers if possible and have it delivered

If possible try to get the concrete guys to pull the mesh up into the slab. Your slab will be stronger and the heat will perform better.

Warning: They may threaten to bury you in concrete for suggesting this. If so just let them do it their way, it's not worth dying over.

Gentlemen thank you. The concrete guys think I am overkilling the project with edge insulation under slab insulation chairs for the wire mesh and rebar and 5000 psi concrete. I will stay away from the pour of the concrete and stay in higher grounds. Thank you very much Zman and Hot rod.
