Manual fill valve on steam boiler - take the handle off or the knuckleheads will get you

Ya might wanna take that handle off of the manual fill valve. I just left a job where some knucklehead "plumber"/handyman had turned off the main water valve, then decided that the boiler needed filling to 10 psi and flooded the entire system. Water was spraying out rad vents everywhere on the first floor. :#:#:#
