Amazing what it takes to build such a structure. Even more amazing how they built the Golden Gate Bridge, Empire State Building, Hoover Dam etc. in the "old days"

Seems like I've spent a lot of time stuck in traffic at the Tappan Zee on trips to New England for college and to visit relatives. Seems like a lot of the congestion went away now they are100% EZ Pass/ Plate tolling0

I've been following this -- now for a tale of my own (which will date me) -- I watched the original bridge being built from my house, which was on a hill in Dobbs Ferry. Had a perfect view up the river of the construction, and it was fascinating. When they were hoisting the final span into position I borrowed a boat and motored up there to watch the show!Br.
