On a test, there is a question that asks how is the laying out of pex tube done for radiant heating.

First, are joists always brought up when laying out pex tubing for radiant heating.

second which one is right,

start at the beginning then begin looping, start at the end then begin looping.
If you could describe what to do in simple terms as to how to lay out the pipe?

Many many ways to loop pex correctly. On some installs both ends are connected to the manifold, find center of the loop and stuff it through the joists. It was a common rubber tube method.

The "sewing" method is also shown in UltraFin manuals.

Depends on type of radiant floor detail. Over the top, or under floor.

    Counter flow, serpentine.

I am a little curious what kind of test you are taking?
It does not sound like it is part of a formal class.
Judging by the way the questions are worded, it does not sound like the person writing the test is completely competent.
