I ran into a "Flow Stat, #400" manufactured in Brooklyn, N.Y. I've never seen one and wonder if anyone can tell me more about it and it's function/operating features. It was originally installed sometime in the early sixties. A Taco 571 valve, with t'stat, is immediately downstream from it, but don't know if they are competing with each other (the taco could have been a later add-on). thanks
