No DHW on Buderus GB142

I have a GB142 working with both space heating and heating a DHW storage tank. Recently the DHW side has stopped working. At first I suspected a bad temp sensor. Then I noticed that when I turned the DHW temp control knob on the GB142 back and forth, I can hear a relay clicking. The LED under the knob does not light. This makes me think that the sensor is ok and the problem is deeper in the GB142. Any ideas?

    Check the resistance of the sensor and compare it to the chart in the service manual to see if it's in range for the corresponding temp.
