Buderus on our wall:
One boiler got flooded, I mean submerged
The other boiler (g115), the homeowner could not deal with oil due to heightened chemical sensitivities, so we installed a wall hung propane sealed combustion0 -
I need to start doing that...could be fun to see in a few years..

@Stephen Minnich honeywell thermostat on the left with the side knob (second one in). My parents house still have two of those in use. Line voltage right through the mercury capsule, had old B&G 100's which are now 0010's on the mono-flo.
Great wall!Serving Northern Maine HVAC & Controls. I burn wood, it smells good!1 -
I have a lot of very old Bell & Gossett parts. Dan really was my muse and his history with B&G probably sparked that.Steve Minnich0

Back when even the lowly water heater was ornate. Luxury to have hot water on demand.Serving Northern Maine HVAC & Controls. I burn wood, it smells good!0

Hello Bob, Rick got it! That's a blow torch. Hard to do pinpoint work with it, but nobody messes with you when it's running Next to that is a tray of sediment samples and further to the right is a nice monkey wrench. In front of those things is a coal fired side-arm heater made when American Radiator and Standard Sanitary were merging.
Water heaters often used to live in the kitchen, where they needed to look good. That placement gave quick hot water to the most used tap, the kitchen faucet.
