Phyn Pilot Program

You probably heard the news last spring that Uponor and Belkin have teamed up to create Phyn, an intelligent water solution that protects your home and/or business from leak damage and enables you to track water usage from your smart phone. Since I love technology, have experienced leak damage firsthand, and love saving water (and $), I jumped at the chance to test this baby out via a pilot program. I'll be blogging about it as I go. Want to be part of the pilot program too? Click here to learn more.

Thanks for sharing! I just signed up. The Phyn was one of my top products at the show. I spent at least a half hour quizzing them on the product.
Uponor also has a new wireless zoning system that is going to be a huge hit! The technology built into it allows systems to self Balance and it also eliminates the problems associated with micro zoning. I think this is my top product. It's a really smart and user friendly system.1 -

@Harvey Ramer, @Hilly, and @RayWohlfarth - Thanks! Keep me posted on how it goes for you. I think Phyn will give me piece of mind when I am traveling and also alert me about small hidden leaks before they cause major damage. I can also see this product benefitting those who have rental properties in cold climates or leave their homes to fly south for the winter and are concerned about pipes freezing.

I just signed up! I have a lot of snowbird customers, some of which do not winterize their house when they leave. I am working on a freeze/break job right now where they currently have 32 fans running to dry the place out. And that is after they cut out the first four feet of sheetrock.
This product would have shut the water off right away and saved them quite a bit. We shall see how it really works.
