Eternal Tankless Water heaters

Bought one of these in 2012 and about a week ago it sprang leaks like it was depth charged. After a lot of searching and calling different plumbers in the area, including the one who installed it, I found out the Company went belly up, and that although designed very ahead of its time Eternal Manufactured a lot of lame ducks so to speak.
Grand Hall, its parent company is actually still in business making barbecues in Texas.
Since fixing it was pretty much a waste of time I replaced it with a Rinnai, but is anyone have any lawsuits against this company, or know if anything is being done ?

Hello, It's not that we don't have the technology. Here's a heater from 1895 that still works!

Is there a round hole in the roof above where it came from?

Hello, I don't know about a hole in the roof above this heater. I found it in England sitting on a sidewalk in the city of Bath. As it's a bath heater, I was happy. :D Brought it home as carry on luggage. I wouldn't let any luggage handlers touch it! B)

    ps. NO SCRAP!!! >:)
