The Industry lost a legend, Brian Baker

I just heard Brian Baker has succumbed to the cancer he has been fighting and I am sad. He was one of my favorite people. He would dispute points made in my articles and I would have to defend or explain my statements or conclusions. He was the most intense industry fact finder. I would send him a book and would get it back filled with post it notes and highlighted passages asking me to explain. He made me a better writer. He even reviewed my last book while he was taking Chemo. I taught a Skype class for his Rses group. One of my regrets is that I never met Brian in real life. Good luck and God speed Brian, you will be missed.

I had the opportunity to spend a couple of days with he and his wife a few years ago. It was an enjoyable experience to share our stories in the industry. He will be missed.0
