Weil McLain Aqua Balance

Just finished install on the new Aqua Balance. The manual recommends 1 1/4" primary loop piping even though the unit has 1" NPT adapters on the bottom. Of course the primary sizing disclaimer caught my eye after the near boiler piping was done in 1".
Question: I measure anywhere between 25-35 degree delta T on the primary loop during operation with the 1" header. The manual says it likes to see 20 degree. Will the current configuration with the higher delta T damage the boiler and should I eat it and pipe the primary in 1 1/4".?

It's mostly a problem of pumping and flow -- and if the pump is built into the boiler, then it is at least possible that that pump simply isn't putting out enough flow against the resistance of the smaller pipe -- which is half again as great as the recommended size.
But I can't say whether that would damage the boiler...Br. Jamie, osb
