2 Year old Burnham Steam Boiler Install

Options
Customer says it doesn't run well and makes a lot of noise.

They can't get the original installer to come back.

What do you think about it?

I wanted to post more of the piping but the pictures are too blurry to see anything.

Someone got in over their head. Too bad I can't make heads or tails of the piping.

They used one supply on boiler, plugged the other. one 4" line is connected directly to old pipe. You can almost make it out in first picture where they added a flange and two elbows to connect it.

Return is what you can see on the pic with the water feeder, other side of boiler plugged.

The wiring is as it was since the install two years ago. Scary thing is, they were running it until this season.

That looks like a do over to me. I can clearly see why the installer won't come back:

We told the customer the near boiler piping needs to be redone, rewire everything and get it right.

First we have to go back and take a walk thorough inside to make sure its sized properly to begin with, also verify if its a one pipe or two pipe system and all that madness.

Originally thought it may have needed skimming or had a slow return since it was working for two years, but once we saw the boiler room we told them we need to come back and spend some time on it.

Love the LWCO's randomly left wherever I guess they felt the pipe had tightened up.

Also the greenfield with no anti-short bushings or connectors.. left flying in the air
