Higher orange and yellow flames

The burner flames on the steam boiler was blue before sweeping up dust from from around the boiler. I have noticed that the flames are now higher and very bright yellow to orange. I am thinking that its due to the heavy dust that was in the area, or I could be wrong. Its been a few days now and still the same

When you were sweeping, did much dust get into the burner area? Things may have gotten somewhat gunked up in there. That flame colour suggests that the air balance is now off. You might need to get someone to clean the blower and air shutters and all and then check and adjust the burners.

It's newly poured concrete floor. I was taking down insulation from the ceiling. The floor is dusty also. Is it this that has contributed to the off balance?

Was some sheet rock installed? I usually see problems from the sanding of the compound .....really should not run a boiler when theres construction

I did and the flame went down a bit. Does that attribute to the high flames?

Sorry, but the whole burner and air system needs to be cleaned and readjusted, with proper gauges...
