Gauge was made in Switzerland. That's what the Europeans use instead of a point. It just means 1.0, 2.0 etc.

kpa is for sissies, real men use furlongs per fortnight and I am unanimous in that!.

Ratio, I believe your "Descartes per Hectare" is the equivalent to
our "Chaldrons per Furlong" unit of measurement if you consider the "Bible Cubit" as the base line factor. :|

Bob, that is really racy, bordering on tacky, but suggestive.

Not nearly as racy as slipping sardines through a mail slot to a waiting . . .

When I was about 9 years old, a buddy and I dropped some snow in the outside mail box at the post office. The post mistress heard the door open and looked out as no one would use that during the day.
We go back to school and the principal, Sister Verisama and the post mistress was there awaiting our arrival. We were scared to the point of almost wetting our pants, (Nuns can do that to a small boy). We heard of this being a federal offense and that the snow could have washed stamps off of letters etc.
The things you remember, especially lessons taught by the good Sisters.
