@keyote , I wasn't baiting you. I was simply asking if you really meant to come across the way you did. I guess I have my answer. Just so you understand, I have lived in an urban setting my entire life with a mix of all kinds of people, all of which I am grateful to have known and learned from. You certainly are entitled to feel as you do. It just seems unfortunate that your have limited your opportunities to know and engage some wonderful people. We are, after all Human first. None of us more worthy or entitled than the next person.

There is always something to learn from everyone. Whether it be what to do, or not to do.Arrogance is the number one miracle grow for ignorance.

Always and inevitably each of us underestimates the number of stupid individuals in circulation.

The probability that a given person is stupid is independent of any other characteristic possessed by that person.

A person is stupid if they cause damage to another person or group of people without experiencing personal gain, or even worse causing damage to themselves in the process.

Non-stupid people always underestimate the harmful potential of stupid people; they constantly forget that at any time anywhere, and in any circumstance, dealing with or associating themselves with stupid individuals invariably constitutes a costly error.

A stupid person is the most dangerous type of person there is.

Sorry Gordy you have been lied to.

Let me be clear I take no pleasure in the possession of this knowledge, I simply can not stand lies, and can see no benefit in perpetuating them, the idea that knowledge can be dangerous is absurd ignorance is whats dangerous.
I am also cognizant that group averages say nothing about an individual, but that is certainly not the same thing as saying group averages are unimportant, they are extremely important. Reality is alway extremely important. And i would caution anyone from jumping to any conclusions when investigating the science, this is a multi-edged sword.

Unfortunately, intellect and knowledge doesn't prevent stupid behaviors. Ignoring known facts and/or knowledge as a basis to draw conclusions/make decisions often leads to stupid conclusions. Allowing ones own individual prejudices/social influences/experiences to become the basis for drawing general conclusions about entire races, nationalities, genders, religions or whatever is a stupid behavior. If you feel qualified, judge the individual and base your opinions about that individual only. The problems we have as a nation, any nation for that matter, is not the result of any single element of society. It's an accumulation of many. Having said that, we are very fortunate to ALL be a part of a very diverse America, flaws and all, and we are all Human beings, regardless of who we are or how we got here. Be respectful of that.

Actually the definition of intellect is the ability to avoid stupid behavior and aquiring knowledge.

"Ignoring known facts and/or knowledge as a basis to draw conclusions/make decisions often leads to stupid conclusions."
Exactly so I posted a link to known facts, so you might avoid drawing stupid conclusions based on platitudes you grew up hearing.

"Allowing ones own individual prejudices/social influences/experiences to become the basis for drawing general conclusions about entire races, nationalities, genders, religions or whatever is a stupid behavior."
But of course thats what youre doing, providing anecdotes , I am providing the objective evidence for human bio diversity. Its called the evolution you might have heard of it.

"If you feel qualified, judge the individual and base your opinions about that individual only."
I think I was crystal clear about the implications of group averages regarding individuals, try reading it again. But of course this is an attempt at obfuscation. The more germane point is Meta data is much more important than anecdotal experience when policy planning.

" The problems we have as a nation, any nation for that matter, is not the result of any single element of society. It's an accumulation of many."
This is a pretty nonsensical statement, Do you mean to imply the way to go about solving multiple problems is to say oh its a big jumble it cant be solved. The problems of a nation might be many, thats irrelevant, the solutions are specific to the specific problems and the specific problems must be identified before they can be solved. One of the specific problems in this nation is many people are uncomfortable facing reality, the solution is forcing them to confront reality not molly coddling their childish illusions.

" Having said that, we are very fortunate to ALL be a part of a very diverse America"

What is it about America that makes us fortunate? Many of us would have said freedom ( of conscience) or material well-being (freedom markets) Both are on the verge of extinction due to the garbage thinking.
Equality doesnt exist in nature, In natures wisdom competition was the arbiter success, and survival. Americans once got this. Today the state takes from some to give to others to make them seem equal, this is bad for those who never learn to adapt because they needn't, worse still for those whose rights and property are confiscated. But it is fatal for any nation that continues this maladaptive nonsense for long. We may feel we can well afford to ignore reality, (of course we spent the war dividend 30 years ago) but reality is not ignoring us, out there are competitors, like say china, that have not the judeo christian slave morality sentimentality, and have no compunction about taking advantage of our foolishness. And then how will our generosity be judged by those we ought to have exercised a noblesse oblige toward will they thank us for our naivete?

"flaws and all, and we are all Human beings, regardless of who we are or how we got here. Be respectful of that."

Again implying facing reality is a bad thing, Did someone say some humans are not human, did someone say something disrespectful? Or are you simply using the evil nazi Trope to shut down reality?
You want to know whats truly evil? Lies are evil! Neglecting your duty to guard your nation for the next generation is evil! Dispossessing a peoples nations and culture are evil! Stealing peoples power and property are evil. Turning peoples children against their forebears, history, culture, and nation is evil. Saddling hundreds of trillions of dollars worth of debt on the unborn is evil! Radicalizing and inculcating hatred against your own people is evil. Using your wealth to bring billions of third worlders into the world that have bo way to feed themselves is evil.

Wow, Thank God Everyone can have and exercise a different "Reality" than yours. That's one good thing about this country. Learning from mistakes/abuse of others, like slavery and trying to be better people is another. Having the freedom of speech or, in this case to cease discussion is also a great human right. Fortunately, I'm not "stupid" enough to continue this conversation with you. Enjoy your holiday weekend.

I've heard, genius, is treading the line between insanity and sanity. They don't often fit well into social circles.

Rodger Waters was known to check in for a psychiatric evaluation periodically.
