Aesthetic Pipe Insulation

Hi all,
The asbestos was fully removed from all basement steam mains in our 7,000 sf building sometime in the 80's or 90's. We are now considering insulating the steam mains with 3" fiberglass as part of a building heating system upgrade.
The majority of the basement outside the boiler room is used as storage, but a substantial portion is finished as an apartment and belongs to one of our tenants who prefers the look of uninsulated mains. This person has a tastefully rennovated apartment so I can understand where he is coming from.
I was wondering if anyone had insulation suggestions or an outer layer/coating that could be used which has a more aesthetic look than fiberglass wrap?
Thank you,
Robert

I have used insulation from Techlite.net. They have fabric and PVC jacketed versions in many colors.
It is a melamine based, not fiberglass. Commonly used in clean room with the colorful jacketing options. The sold small quantities to me directly from AZ.

Would he be opposed to an exposed duct work look? You could insulate with the fiberglass wrap and then put the appropriate size round ducting over it.0

This is what I'm leaning toward. Then you can spray paint it with PVC compatible paint in any color.

Thanks for the suggestions all. I've attached some product information that was provided to us by an insulation contractor FYI.0
