Navien - CH-240 Low pressure on heating side

Navien CH-240 used as water heater and floor heating. No issues for a year, for no apparent reason the unit showed error code E002 and a pressure reading of 7.x. Manual reads to turn off the system and turn unit back on. This did not fix the problem. Local technician connected a line from the heating water side to the domestic water inlet, this increased the tank pressure to allow the unit to work.

6 weeks later, the same event happened. I applied the same corrective action to allow the system to work.

Why is the system not maintaining tank pressure?

    Because...there's a leak somewhere.

It's not a leak. It's the pressure sensor. They have a pin sized inlet and get jammed up with crud easily.

Pull the sensor and clean it or replace it. Will make your errors go away.
