Flash tanks utilize which of the following?
A. condensate
B. flash steam
C. sub-cooled steam
D. superheated steam

    Trick question. By definition C. doesn't exist . The answer is A. & B..

    I agree. sub cooled steam would be condensed so c is out. you can't blow down superheated steam so d is out.

    High-pressure condensate. Elevated pressure & temperature, but it's still water. Reduce the pressure & it becomes steam again.
