Pressure switch settings

Where could I find charts on pressure switches? When you have a pressure switch fault, how are you suppose to determine if the problem is with the furnace or pressure switch if the pressure switch manufacturer doesn't put the design cut out pressure on the switch? Burns me up when this happens. I see this with Honeywell, Tridelta, and some other manufacturers. What does it take for these f...... manufacturers to stamp the pressure on it??

Use a manometer to check actual pressure and compare to the pressure switch specs. Usually there's something else going on, and the pressure switch is not at fault. I've often been able to find pressure specs by contacting tech support if they are not listed for the model. Which furnace or pressure switch are you looking at?0

I have a manometer and use it on every job. If you don't know what the switch is set to open up at, it makes it more difficult to troubleshoot. That all I'm saying.0

If it is not in the I and O Manual then contact the manufacturer.0
