Radiant Heating/Boilers in LA

I have been searching for a quality natural gas, condensing, modulating, outdoor, wall-mounter boiler for an hydronic floor heating system in a small (< 1200 sq ft) house in Venice (Los Angeles), CA. I am getting all sorts of conflicting input on the quality of various brands/models (reliability being the 1st priority) and am finding it surprisingly difficult to locate installers in LA for many manufacturers. So, any advice on devices to consider and ways to find installers?

There are very few RFH contractors in southern Cal. For obvious reasons...Finding a trained, qualified installer who has experience will be very difficult.0

As Paul noted above, there is not much heating demand in the LA area. Here is a link to the RPA list of contractors.

I don't know of any mod/con boiler that's rated for outdoor use. Some on-demand water heaters are, you DEFINITELY don't wanna use one of those for space heating - in spite of what some online radiant wreck may tell you.Bob Boan
