Clocking gas meter
ratio
Member Posts: 3,788
Question for the gas pros out there. I came across this, regarding meters operating at 1# and above. Unless I miss my guess, it merely accounts for the difference in volume of the gas at pressures much higher than typical. Wouldn't that difference exist at 7-14" inlet too, not just at 1#+? Is it just a matter of the error introduced at 7-14" is insignificant, but at 1#+ it becomes measurable?
