Found 3 screws jammed in hot side of faucet in supply line and shut off valve looked like faucet bib screws but don't know how they would get in hot side sypply and shut off. Anyone ever seen or know why this would happen?

Single handle kithen faucet was there always to my knowledge0

Any idea where they might have been hiding? I presume the thing was working OK, and then this problem showed up?Br. Jamie, osb

It must have had a two handle faucet at one time? Bib screws can back out of they are not tightened or an oversized faucet washer was installed
I always used bib screws that had a nylon locker in the thread, like a self locking nut hasBob "hot rod" Rohr
