    Additionally, there is no header, no equalizer, no Hartford loop...and boiler is fed into skim tapping which you can see in photo.

    I only took one more but it doesn't show much. My father sold a job repiping all the gal water lines in the basement and I dropped off some material for him and walked into the boiler room to find this...now I'll have to sell them on the boiler repipe :neutral:

    @Hatterasguy, I doubt it. All the material has Home Depot stickers on it. The stickers on the blk npls melted lol.

    Update on a 4 year old thread. I was finally able to Repipe! First picture is when we start to disassemble the near boiler piping which lacked a header of any kind as well as a Hartford Loop, not that they’re needed or anything @ChrisJ 😉. Second picture is of completed repipe. We additionally found the chimney to be completed blocked from deterioration. We were tipped off to this when we found the blocked vent switch to be jumped out...scary stuff.

    Usually after looking at something like that I go and rethink my business plan being they got paided and got lost and didn’t deal w the garbage they installed and got a inspection sticker to boot . From the color it looks like a Williamson which seems to be a brand aside from others that I see a lot and usually all suffer the same fate ,over sized , no header or usually nbp that’s normal and of course usually never cleaned or set up A perfect picture of the competition and 90 % of the wish wash style installation these bone heads do . Your a better man then I after a one year or two year period I’m generally done and the paper works is in the garbage and I move on . Peace and good luck clammy

    I’m pretty sure the inspection sticker is from the manufacturer, and not a local authority.
