It has power, and the display on the hydrostat says 89, if I adjust the low temperature limit the boiler will kick on and stay on but I still won't get hot water I let it run for just under an hour but no change to anything I'm guessing it shouldn't stay running like that ether :( I just don't know much about these things.

It's either a loose wire, or it's broke. Is it sending power to the burner? Can't really tell you more than that without putting my hands/meter on it.

There was an error rendering this rich post.

Does the water get hot when you force the boiler to run by adjusting the low temperature limit? If so, then it is -- as @STEVEusaPA said -- a loose wire or a problem in the hot water sensing -- which should be keeping the boiler warm all the time, to make the hot water.
