paint for hot water heating cast iron baseboard/radiator

I am looking for paint for my newly install cast iron water heating baseboard/radiator. The guy from homedepot recommend the High-Heat Rust-Oleum . But there is no white color available in the local location. The ordinary Rust-Oleum Stops Rust is available but it says "do not apply to where temperature exceed 200F degree". From my Burnham boiler manual, I found its highest water temperature is 210F degree. From my limited experience, the baseboards/radiators are far below 200F normally, I think.

So what is your professional view of this? go hight-heat? or the Stops Rust is enough?

thanks,

I'm in the middle of refinishing some old cast iron radiators I salvaged...I'm using the Rustoleum Stop Rust spray paints with good results. I first used them on a radiator for our bathroom 2 years ago and it's held up VERY well. No complaints.

I will note that the highest temp my system sees is around 140*, and I give the radiator and paint ample time to dry and outgas before install. I've never noticed an odor or any sort of paint degradation, and being in the bathroom, it sees a fair amount of condensation, wet towels thrown on it, bumps, and exposure to some relatively harsh cleaners.

This is the latest: I stripped and sanded and power washed down to bare metal, followed by the Stop Rust bonding primer (2 coats), then Stop Rust paint (Canvas color - 2 coats). I decided to try the gloss paint on this one, and I actually like the way it turned out so far. I will finish with a very light coat of Stop Rust clear coat, probably in matte to offset the gloss a little. This one is more of an experiment before I move on to the bigger radiators I have.

    Good luck!

Oddly enough, I have had very good luck with steam radiators with the Benjamin Moore line of interior very high grade acrylics -- the same paints I use on the walls... low luster. Wire brush them more or less vigorously, and paint. But I'm kinda lazy.
