Was down in the city yesterday assisting with a large project.

Came across this beauty, just in awe of its size. Building is now on district steam. They had the original glass block sidewalk on Broadway visible from below. Pretty cool walking beneath the city in city-owned buildings

I went to a technical high school in Boston and I can remember they had an enormous old steam boiler in the basement that had been coal fired at one time to feed that 5 story building. Sadly it got converted to a high end hotel a couple of decades ago.

Smith G8-3 with EZ Gas @ 90,000 BTU, Single pipe steam
    Vaporstat with a 12oz cut-out and 4oz cut-in
    3PSI gauge
