Insulation

I'm installing radiant heat in a garage and possible snow melt in the future.
I would like to use the Crete heat product on the garage floor instead of the 2" Styrofoam.
My questions would be;
1) Is it good product for this installation, with the weight of a car on top of it?
2) If I install the tubing in the "knobs"(the 6"X 6" grid would be installed over the tubing) instead of being in the middle of the 4" slab, would it make much of a difference?
3) Is 2" Styrofoam and securing the PEX to the 6"X 6" grid work and support with 2" blocks a better option?
Thanks.

    In a perfect world, you want the top of the tubing to be ~1-1/2" below the surface. This will provide increased responsiveness and lower back losses than tubing which is close to the bottom of the pour.

    If you tie it securely to the rebar, it comes out just about right in a 4" pour (with 1/2" PEX on #3 bar and plastic chairs.) Materials cost will be lower than a prefab panel system, but it requires more labor.
