Any of you guys had any long term experience with Rinnai's E series combi boiler?

The oldest E50C I have out there is 2-3 years old(?). No problems at all, they have been great. Other E series I have worked on have been good, if they were piped correctly. Here was the latest fix, the pumps are pointing down. After moving them to the supply side and pumping away all is well.

Can't muster up the suspicion and hate for Rinnai/Navien combi's other than large input by design. Got a bunch out there, no issues. Customers are made aware of mminimum flow rates, adjust thier use patterns accordingly.

whats funny about the combi boilers is they are made for small spaces and tight installs in my mind, but yet the minimum firing rates seem really high.

@Hatterasguy I agree with you on that. I'm saying more so on the heating side. Navien is 18k the Rinnai is 26k btus minimum fring rate. Seems high for something that should fit in a closet and handle smaller heating loads.

    Thanks for the input, gentlemen.

Anyone else have experience with these?
