Steam boiler repipe in Jersey City NJ

We repiped this boiler with a 4" drop header and the hydronic loop piping going to the indirect tank as a preheated tank for the regular hot water heater. Indirect tank started to leak after we repiped it properly. The only thing I could come up with that prevented it from leaking before or masked the leak was all the mud and dirt sitting at the bottom of tank and once we drained it and repiped it that exposed the leak. We ended up ripping out the indirect tank and the old water water heater and upgraded the water heater from a 40 gallon to a 75 gallon with a mixing valve.
The hydronic loop piping is staying for the future baseboard heat that's going into the basement.

    @Dave0176

    Was easy to tell it was a 50 by the drafthood.
    EG*5 boilers have full size. The EG*0 have reduced with the round bottom.

    Unless that's a recent change, but judging by how my EG-40 worked with the 45 hood I doubt it.
    Single pipe quasi-vapor system. Typical operating pressure 0.14 - 0.43 oz. EcoSteam ES-20 Advanced Control for Residential Steam boilers. Rectorseal Steamaster water treatment

    Thanks Chris, I actually didn't even look at the draft hood.

    Is that a series 100 Bell & Gossett circulating pump (with the bronze sleeve)? What model? Sweet job squeezing that in there.

    Wow,

    Why would anyone use one of those typical Taco circulatory when you can have one of those!

    I want one and I don't even have a hot water loop! I want to hang it on the Christmas tree or something.

    Looks like a lot of effort went into supporting the suction and discharge pipes on both sides of the pump. Don't always see that. Did the black metal bracket supporting the power pack come with the B&G 100 (AB bronze 1/12 HP) or is that a separate item?

    Not to difficult installing the supports for the pump and piping.
    We either use a coated riser clamp or uni-strut as the support for the pump mortor

    The hi-lighting is actually in the wrong place there. Read carefully...

    Thanks SWEI, I see it now (little slow). The instruction say don't support the power pack.
    I have heard that these pumps can last forever if you keep them oiled. Sometimes you will hear them start to vibrate and that is a sign that the "mounts" need to be replaced. Oddly, replacement impellers are plastic. I would have guessed otherwise.
