Steam heated kitchen warmer.

Here is a picture of two steam radiators piped and installed in a metal lined kitchen cabinet. The steam is no longer heating this mid 1800's house and someone has removed the supply valve and riser, but you can still see the air vent poking up in the left rear corner.

Is there any chance that's actually a plate warmer?

It's certainly not there to heat the room. :D

Single pipe 392sqft system with an EG-40 rated for 325sqft and it's silent and balanced at all times.

Nice way to keep prepared food warm, at least during the winter months.

    What happened to the steam?

Yes, a bunch of manufacturers made them for that purpose.
    Retired and loving it.
