steam boiler replacement

So this house is a 2 family which the home owner is turning it back to a single family.
We piped 2 new 11/4" steam riser for rooms that didnt have any radiators in them.
Ripped out the 2 neglected boilers and Installed a Peerless 63-04, 3" drop header, steam rated ball valves for the main, return and skim port. We also upgraded the main venting with 8- Gorton #2s.
Tight spot to work in since there is a wall to the left of the boiler and the steam mains and dry returns run along the main wood girdle beam.
Thanks Dave Labar for the referral.

Nice shoehorning job! Quite the Gorton farm you have going there -- it's somewhat difficult to tell from the photo, but I think I see some "interesting" angles there, and what may be drips at the other end of the horizontal runs?

Yeah all the piping is in a super tight area.
That's staining from the old main vents which weren't high enough off of the dry returns

I was wondering about the connections to both ends of the horizontal antler run.

    Wow, that looked like fun.

Single pipe 392sqft system with an EG-40 rated for 325sqft and it's silent and balanced at all times.

No leaks on our piping but once we got the boiler up and running we found 2 major leaks in the 2 separate steam mains, we fixed those leaks today.
