Newly installed Bosch Greenstar ZBR 283A gas fired boiler going into "EA" fault mode intermittently. Run and starts fine for days ,then goes into EA . Simple reset usually restarts it, but did degrade to a point where I had to adjust gas throttle to get it to light. Still faults out intermittently. NG pressure 8.5.

Is that the pressure with all appliances full on and the boiler at full fire? Was a combustion analysis done with a digital analyzer?Bob Boan

That's one of the special "could be a number of things" codes. Did you set your high and low o2/co2? Check out the manual, it's a list of things to look at. Or call Bosch. You're the installer? Maybe peek at the igniter and flame sensor too.0

Had a similar problem with a newly installed Bosch Greenstar ZBR 21-3, turns out the condensate was not draining adequately, trimmed drain hose to assure the condensate would flow freely to the drain.0
