Looking for temporary heat source

I am looking for a temporary solution to heat the back stairwell in my house. The stairwell appears to have been an addition and there is no heat back there. The house is steam and I've been trying to figure out a viable solution for that area. In the interim, I was thinking of getting a wall mounted heater, something like this http://www.eheat.com/. Anyone familiar with these? Any suggestions??

If this really is just a temporary thing why not just put one of these in the space? You would be surprised how well they work.

It will probably be for the entire winter.

I swear by those when it comes to a portable heater.
Good radiant heat, 99% silent. Just be warned their thermostat controls the heater's temperature, not the room's temperature.
