My just had to replace the anti- condensing valve for the 4th time since 2006. Is this a common problem? Seem like it is. $130.00 each, it's really adding up.

are you replacing the valve body or just the motor? Not a huge fan of the unit but have not seen that many failures on a single unit...Seems like your fixing the broken part but not finding the problem..0

I replace both each time.0

It seems to be in the fall during start up time. Not sure if the valve sticks from no use during the summer months, then it either strips the gears or breaks the plastic clip that goes over the valve stem. I think I'm going to start running a heat cycle once a month during the warm months. I another note, I think this units electronics should be separated from the heat source better. All the plastic plugs are so brittle and I worry about the circuit boards.0
