valve chatter

in Gas Heating
just started boiler for the season and the gas valve is chattering . Can this be repaired or must it be replaced?
Valve is on Laars minitherm and only about 3 yrs.old.

    Who made the valve and what is its number? Do you have 24 volts steady to the valve? Try cycling it a few times and see if it stops.

    it's a honeywell vr8304 .I will apply meter and then post.
