we just bought a home that has a Burnham Series 2 Model B Gas heater model # is 205NIL -GEI2 with a old Honeywell thermostat. i tried following the directions on how to light the pilot

it came on once and shut off after about a minute.

i took off the cover

turn off the power switch at the side of the panel

turn the black switch to OFF

wait 5 minutes

Turn the switch ON and the power switch on the panel ON

turn the thermostat all the way up but still it won't light.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    You have a spark ignited boiler. Do you hear the igniter sparking when you turn it on? If not have you checked to see if you have power to the boiler, make sure switches are in the on position, make sure you do not have a stairway switch shut off, check circuit breaker.

    ok guys its fixed, it was so cold last night i had to get somebody to look at it, for $125.00 they came and turned on the water that was the problem
