SOLD OUT. The very last Dead Men's Steam School, January 6, 2016, Astoria, NY

O.E.S.P auctioned me off to raise money for scholarships for trade-school teachers. Bob O'Brien of Technical Heat on Long Island won me, and he decided to have me do my last Dead Men's Steam School before I retire from doing seminars in a place that's very special to me. I have done many seminars at Riccardo's by the Bridge and each has filled quickly, and always with a grand New York City mix of wonderful people.
We're announcing this now because I'm sure it's going to sell out, and although January 6 seems far away, summer does go by quickly. If you'd like to get in on it, go HERE for your ticket. Bob is handling all the ticket sales, so please don't call HeatingHelp.com for this one. Tickets are available only through the EventBrite site.
Oh, and all that delicious Riccardo's food will be there for your dinner at 5 PM. And The Lovely Marianne will have lots of discounts at her traveling bookstore.
Thanks for the great times. I hope to see you in January!

Dear Dan
Sad to hear you are retiring from the seminar circuit.
Dan, you helped many people to understand the simple rules regarding steam heating. Way back when the seminars were sponsored by Wallace Eannace Associates and published Steam Without Tears one of the most helpful monthly publications to the trade and one of my learning tools, all information in those publications came from real life situations in the field.
A very important item in your long carrier as the steam Guru is the way you a personal interest in your students and always helped them when asked for guidance.
In my case you encouraged me to write, You edited two articles for me that published in Heating Piping Air Conditioning Magazine.
Additionally, When I retired from the New York City Housing Authority you encouraged me to become a steam heating consultant and referred more than a hundred customers to me.
I had a ten year run before I retired, additionally I wrote a book and had it published one and a half years ago. The book is available on Amazon.com and Barnes and Noble, Titled "Steam The Perfect Fluid for Heating and Some of the problems.
Thanks for all you have done for me.
Have a great retirement and enjoy everything with your family because in life that is all we have.
Love:
Jacob Myron

Just bought two tickets. My husband and I have not had a "date night" in several years--I am hoping he will be free so that I can bring him along!
I am a new homeowner and have learned so much from your books and this site. I am excited to come learn, not to mention meet some of the wonderful people who have taken the time to share their considerable expertise on this site. Looking forward to January!
Thanks ever so much!3 -
