Johnny88, are there lic and ins requirements in the area ur talking about....Back when airline deregulation came to play, the newer lost cost carriers put many a big airlines and almost all small ones into bankruptcy, causing havoc in the industry...How did they set there fares so low, you guessed it cheap maintenance, xborder over haul plants, cutting employee wages and benefits....They managed to lower the standards of the industry, then a few sucked up the profits and screwed... What's left is a joke, My old lead mechanic and many coworkers went on to the NTSB and FAA...I quit because I refused to lower my standards and take a pay cut...have not once considered flying since......I know you won't ever lower your standards, and never ever take a pay cut....This is a very difficult trade to be in if you want your own small business...Anyone can go to work in a shop and read newspapers and eat lunch and be home at 5 and only think about what's on t v...That was never for me...I had to much pride

@ja yep you must be licensed and insured.I guess the larger companies can do it based on quantity but it sure makes it hard.

Jonny. I would send HIM a registered letter, BACK with a copy of code, showing h.w. temp limits, plus a copy of his letter to you and explain that he has ALTERED your initial safe-settings and therefore assumes ALL responsibility and liability. Mad Dog
