Door vent to boiler room

in THE MAIN WALL
I need to replace the door leading to my boiler closet. Need to know the amount of surface that the vent needs to cover. Door would be 30 x 80".

    What did the old door look like?

    Is this a typical residential boiler?

    I've seen a lot of furnace/boiler room doors that were completely louvered to satisfy code requirements.

    But someone else here may disagree.

    Before we can help you with the size of the openings, we need to know the BTUH of all of the fuel-Burning appliances in the room (boiler, water heater, dryer, etc.)
