Hello... looking for someone in the NY Hudson valley area to help with finishing a Alpine 150 boiler. I would say 90 percent is complete except for wiring the 2 zone valves and 2 cir pumps, water pressure indicator and two thermostat wires. All of the wiring has been run it needs to be connected. I wanted to make sure I don't mess anything up....
thanks.
thanks.

Agreed, before it gets wired and fired please let us ensure that the piping is correct so that you don't literally "blow" your investment.j a said:Hi I was I believe commenting on this post on a different post,no insult intention as someone thinks I did…What size house is this 150 being put in…How about a few pictures so we can see whats up

The comment concerning the boiler sizing is absolutely correct.
Your 70 feet of baseboard cannot emit more than 40,000 BTU.
How did you end up with a 150K Boiler?
It looks like you have 3 heating zones to control?
A switching relay like the Taco SR504 is the best way to clean up and simplify your low voltage wiring.
I agree that it is in your best interest to have a pro help set this system up and do a performed a combustion analysis.

Correction:
As @Rich pointed out the ZVC 404 is the correct product for zone valves."If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough"

Just not much Uponor in my area. I have seen a lot of pex for domestic water being used to run heat pipes. I am asking for confirmation it has an O2 barrier.Cost is what you spend , value is what you get.

Not sure if there are any FAPs are in your area.......Otherwise, If you can get hold of him. Devan Singh of Singh mechanical in Ancram, NY (Columbia Co.) would be an excellent man to get you straightened out here. That 35-40 mins North East of you? He used to have an up here on FAP. Mad Dog0

The pex is Hepex....supports both hot and cold water... The third has no attachment only there if my water heater goes.... I only have two zones0
-
Uponor HePex has an oxygen barrier applied to the interior and exterior of the pipe , it is run through a bath immediately upon leaving the extruder . I would suggest not using it for water pipe in your home .You didn't get what you didn't pay for and it will never be what you thought it would .
