Newbie asks, "what book do I read next?"

Hello All!
I just finished reading "Classic Hydronics" to familiarize myself with the heating system in an old house we recently bought in the Western Chicago Suburbs. It's been a cold winter so I want to make some changes to the system for next year. I'm wondering what would be a good follow-up book that would help me to understand how to update and add to the existing system (like adding zones) and maybe fix some of the problems that were created when the system was updated over the years. From what I can tell, it looks like it was originally a two-pipe steam or gravity system (no special Ts), with radiators, that was updated with a natural gas hot water boiler and circulator in the late 60s (the house was built in the 20s). I can post pictures, but before I do--and ask a lot of redundant questions--i'm hoping to educate myself a bit more first. Thanks!

This is a good one, and free!

I will second the Caleffi Idronics, they are all excellent, perhaps not all of them are applicable to your system, but all are very informative. Another one you might consider if you are brand new to all this, is Pumping Away. Especially if you have a converted gravity system, it will certainly help you to understand the dynamics of how circulators work within the context of a hydronics system, and that can be essential for making a converted gravity system work properly.0

I believe this is also available on this site 8-)0 -

The Hydronic Radiant Heating.... is available right here on the site for $25. Not sure why you'd go to a site that wants $209 for it. After you're done with it you'll quickly realize that it's probably worth the $209.0

I agree with Carl. Hard to argue Idronics issues 1-16.
All of Dan's books are awesome.
Siggy's Modern Hydronic Heating is worth every penny.
