Can someone please adivise as to what the code is for placement of oil burner, hot water heater and oil tank in an attached garage in Port Jefferson Station, Brookhaven township??

Is there no local AHJ you can ask? Town building inspector?0

What Robert said, and best to add a vapor barrier, tank no closer that 5 feet from the unit, lally columns where impact might be a possibility, outside air intake, no open returns in garage if warm air to name a few. There are different codes for different areas. Check locally0
