Need to find my 78 yo Mom a simple, dial analog, non digital low volt thermostat for heat. She doesn't see up close very well even with glassed. LCD screen is a no-no.

This is the best I've got.

This also looks like a possibility, but I don't know how well it works.

This one w/ a back light would help.
Simple controls.

That will be tough with no lcd.0

Try maxi-aids0

The ones with the blue displays might be easier on her eyes, but any digital unit can be inadvertently set wrong. The beauty of the old round Honeywell's is they were pretty much bulletproof and most folks were used to them.

Maxi aids has a magnifier that will fit the t 87 or the Honeywell @Stephen Minnich suggested0

What about using that Honeywell and also installing a large easy to read digital thermometer next to it?Patchogue Phil said:I found that too. The thermometer reading is still small.

Good idea Chris. I had put a round analog thermometer on the wall, meant for outdoors so it has large numbers. For that digital thermometer, I'd have to put black tape over the humidity reading so Mom doesn't get freaked out!!
As an aside, my brother discovered Mom had torqued the existing round dial tstat so much that it was no longer level. Setting the dial to max range HIGH only got the house to 68°F!0
