does anyone know about consolidated furnaces, as far as who made them and where to get parts? I had never heard of them until today, and in looking on the internet there is information about them being a hazard if installed in an attic . I am not sure if this is true or not.any information would be much appreciated. thanks to all.

They've been out of business for over ten years.

They weren't a bad product. I installed a few, never had any problems. Never heard of any issues with installing them in attics.

    Follow up.

    Here's a link:

It appears that the issue was with low NOx furnaces sold in CA.

Your only hope is Texas Furnace. They bought the design from Consolidated. But if the furnace is a Consolidated, it's likely at the end of its useful life. What part ya need?
