    The glass steam system is a great tool to let people see what goes on in a steam system.

  • Every time we finished a gallon can of olive oil, I would boil a little water in it, then cap it as I cut the flame, and dribble water over it. It made such wonderful groaning noises as it collapsed from the internal vacuum.

  • The glass systems are really informative. Affiliated Steam on Chicago's south side, has a glass piped training facility that you can see the operation of traps, water hammer and all sorts of neat stuff. The one video claims they have the only glass piped facility...not!
