Interchangeable Alpha Motor With 15-55 bodies

My 15-55SUC went bad recently. I've been wanting an Alpha, but the stainless version is absurdly expensive (like all stainless units). Anyway, I did some research and the Alpha motor on the stainless version looked identical to the cast iron version, so I picked up a cast iron unit and installed the motor on the stainless body from the SUC. Works awesome. I would think all the 15-55 bodies can accept the Alpha motor. The Alpha motor, impeller, stainless motor cartridge cover, and seal were identical to the SUC, which makes sense.

Just thought this might help somebody.
