Hi. I had a customer with a stream boiler with a small leak. I used boiler solder from one of the popular chemical companies. Its been about 2 weeks since I put in his boiler and he complains of a bad smell coming from some of radiators. does anyone know a fix for this problem?
Thanks

Bad smell
Have you tried draining and flushing out the boiler?0 -
At a guess,
the only way you will ever get rid of the smell is to drain and flush -- and drain and flush... rinse and repeat... until it goes away.
Which the leak won't, by the way. It may have stopped for the moment, but it's odds on that it's going to open up again.Br. Jamie, osb
